Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience and/or education must include: 1. C and C++; 2. Writing and debugging Multi-threaded code; 3. Writing scripts using Bash or Python; 4. Hardware debuggers or tools with JTAG interface; 5. Software debuggers such as GDB or LLDB; and 6. Distributed version control tool: Git. Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Implement, maintain and solve problems in software including drivers for common firmware interfaces, chipsets, communications protocols and various SoC blocks. Apply honed debugging skills that cover both hardware and low-level software. Implement features to support hardware testing and diagnosis of Apple’s mobile devices. Use debug tools including scopes and logic analyzers. Create scripts to develop integration and testing suites for other teams. Work closely with standard hardware protocols to communicate with product peripherals. International Travel Required 10%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170700 - $256500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
