Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Technical content development experience with a Fortune 500 consumer products company Experience writing documentation that is well crafted, easy-to-consume, clear, concise, consistent, and accurate Experience researching technical topics and convey technical information to readers of varying skill and experience Demonstrate building good working relationships with an established team of content developers and cross-functional partners Ability to handle several complex projects simultaneously and deliver quality work on time Mastery of English grammar and writing Experience writing to style guides (e.g., The Chicago Manual of Style) Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Expert use of content management systems, digital asset management, word processing and spreadsheet software Advanced proficiency with consumer electronics hardware and software (Apple product knowledge a plus) Experience with script writing for technical procedural videos a plus Description Description As Technical Writers, we collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Service Readiness Engineers, Media Production Specialists, Instructional Designers, and Technical Editors to craft premier service content and communication assets. We ensure timely collection of documentation requirements and the creation of accurate and engaging repair procedures with consistent tone and nomenclature across multiple assets. We are proficient in technical documentation tools and practices, as well as content management workflows. In this role, you will leverage your vast experience and good judgement to continuously drive documentation and process improvement across multiple simultaneous projects and systems. Responsibilities: • Author repair guides and other technical service content to meet the needs of the intended audience. • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and cross-functional team members to produce innovative service content solutions. • Prioritize tasks and deadlines in a highly dynamic environment. • Continuously refine content authoring processes. • Contribute to system requirements and infrastructure projects. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $134,000 and $223,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
