Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 3 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent. Strong Computer Science fundamentals, including familiarity with data structures. Proven object-oriented programming and design skills. Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Description Description The Siri team is looking for someone with a combination of strong programming skills and a creative, user-focused mindset.
As a member of the Siri Audio Experience team, you will make Siri the best way to play, discover, and interact with the audio content that users love.
You will collaborate with Apple's design team to build exceptional user- facing features for music, podcasts, and audiobooks.
You will be an outstanding teammate who can collaborate with engineers in several technical areas who have built the entire range of Siri's user facing capabilities.
You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Building features that drive intelligent user assistance for audio content in first and third party applications, across all Apple devices.
- Working with our platform team to define infrastructure interfaces.
- Crafting a world-class user experience by partnering with Apple's design and product teams.
- Collaborating with international teams to support the Siri experience in multiple regions and languages.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with AI technologies including natural language processing and machine learning.
- In-depth development experience with Swift, Objective-C, Go, or similar languages. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
