We are looking for a proficient, observational and analytical engineer to screen incoming issues and implement tooling to support our engineering team and help scale a rapidly growing team. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor during all stages of software development. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways Strong software engineering and development life cycle knowledge Familiarity with version control systems - preferably git Experience in programming or scripting, preferably in Python/Ruby Proven track record of being proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well organized Experience with Apple tooling and development practices a plus Familiarity with wellness or medical concepts is a plus Description Description As a screener engineer on the Apple Health team, you will review and triage incoming bugs, analyze logs and help determine priority of issues. You will be expected to identify potential trends in incoming bugs and escalate to cross-functional team members. You will gain encyclopedic knowledge of our area of focus and bugs in our components. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, because of the high level of interaction with the engineering teams, management, other organizations within Apple, as well as the larger developer community The ideal candidate will be highly technical, detail-oriented, creative, motivated, and focused on achieving results Education & Experience Education & Experience Coursework in Computer Science/Engineering is desirable, but a specific degree or concentration is not required. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $208,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
