Having passion and in-depth knowledge of Property Maintenance, Facilities Operations, skilled building trades, building systems and building control systems, is essential. You should have experience developing and implementing programs. You should also understand the nuances of being approachable and providing direction to business unit requests. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of related experience in a fast-paced multi facility environment. Description Description This 3rd shift position Maintains and repairs the facility’s structure, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, generator and HVAC systems. Performs skilled trades work such as carpentry, painting and patching in the construction, repair, or alteration of structures such as walls, rooftops, or office fixtures. Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation, maintenance, or repair of plumbing, electrical, air lines, furniture and safety items required in the production process. Makes regular, periodic, and special inspections of the premises to resolve repair work vital to building and site systems. Works from blueprints, drawings, or rough sketches to complete tasks or projects on a regular basis. Work includes but is not limited to: - Espresso and coffee machine maintenance and repair. - Plumbing repairs and maintenance to include clearing clogged lines, toilet, and urinal replacement, locating and repairing leaks, flush valve repair and fixture replacements. - General carpentry work. - Minor electrical repairs. A basic understanding of electrical safety is a must. - Door and door hardware repair and replacement including closer replacements, wood, glass and metal doors, as well as emergency board-ups. - Restaurant equipment repair and maintenance. - Emergency and permanent repairs to mitigate trip, slip and fall hazards. - Providing support to various internal business units to perform a wide variety of services ensuring that special events are successful. - Various types of flooring and ceiling repair. - Respond to emergencies including nights and weekends when needed to correct unsafe or hazardous conditions. - Performs any additional work as requested and as needed. Education & Experience Education & Experience - AA, BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred - Proven coursework through mechanical/electrical trade school or a certification program a plus. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $35.45 and $53.20/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
