Masterful problem-solving: curiosity and resourcefulness paired with the use of the scientific method, root cause analysis, etc. Leadership: ability to thrive in collaborative multi-functional environments. Experience in 2D/3D CAD creation, drafting, GD&T, and tolerance analysis. Experience with manufacturing processes and relevant physics. Drive product form, feature, and technology convergence through detailed
engineering analysis.
Prototype, evaluate, and debug innovative ideas.
Design and define mechanical components and assembly schemes.
Generate detailed specifications and drawings.
Analyze static and dynamic structures to quantify fundamental device performance.
Participate in the development of new manufacturing and assembly processes
with external vendors (including some domestic and international travel).
Validate and characterize designs through multiple iterations.
Create predictive models, conduct design of experiments (DOEs), and failure.
