Summary Posted: Sep 25, 2023 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200505404 The Technical Marketing team in the Worldwide Product Marketing organization is looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer to work on Apple’s thrilling product launches. The team provides direct technical management and operational support for Apple's Worldwide Product Marketing organization. This includes support for Apple's product launches and press briefings, retail demonstration development, internal testing and demonstration, product and feature investigations. This role is part of the team which lays the foundation for Apple's peerless demonstrations, presentations, and briefings. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Extensive experience (7-10 YOE) with both iOS and macOS, and Apple hardware Mass deployment techniques and best practices for iOS and macOS, as well as large-scale system administration Strong knowledge of the macOS command line toolset, shell scripting, Python, and modern web technology code bases Practical knowledge of networking hardware, software, and implementation best practices Solution-oriented and high-level programming skills Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to tailor communication to different audiences Experience with building scalable databases Creative and ambitious thinking is highly encouraged Description Description The Technical Marketing team supports the introduction of new products by collaborating with product managers and engineers to ensure our products receive the launch they deserve. The team works with product managers to define and create demos that will showcase the abilities of our hardware, software and services working together. We work with various engineering organizations to understand how new features, changes in software, and software timelines impact our work and develop plans to successfully showcase new features. We work to develop scripts, automation and streamline processes that will help product marketing efficiently prepare for launches both in the US, and around the world. This role requires a strong sense of individual ownership and responsibility, while working in a team environment. Every task, from the simple to the grand, is critically important to our team's success. A successful candidate should be comfortable with a range of tasks, from running and dressing network and data cables to deploying and supporting a press briefing with worldwide visibility - often in the same day. Responsibilities include: - Provide technical expertise with product teams to ensure successful launch of Apple products - Design and implement sub-systems that enables automation of software via services on devices - Work closely with product teams and engineers to evaluate demo scenarios and provide solutions - Maintain and troubleshoot servers Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Occasional travels, domestically and internationally Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $282,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
