In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for SOC power simulation and power modeling, SOC use case power analysis, and SOC power model to silicon measurement correlation. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications We are interested in candidates who have an Electrical Engineering background, as well familiarity with the list below: Familiarity with ASIC power analysis and simulation, Familiarity with silicon power measurement is a plus, Familiarity with scripting in Python, Familiarity with computer architecture, logic and circuits design, Familiarity with signal processing is a plus, Familiarity with SOC design flow and methodology is a plus, Strong communication skills are a pre-requisite as the candidate will collaborate with a lot of different groups. Description Description The main responsibility of this role is to drive the SOC power modeling and correlation for very power efficient products. - Working with teams to determine the interesting use-cases for both power simulation and measurement. - Collecting power data from silicon measurement, analyzing and updating power model according to the measurement settings, debugging and improving power measurement for better correlation. - Working with multi-functional teams to improve the SOC power model. - Understand interactions of the product at the software and system level that impact power. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $55.81 and $84.08/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
