Apple's Global Security team is looking for a Corporate Security Partner to work directly with business units, vendors, and facilities teams to provide security services at our newest Data Center. Your work will help build solutions to a variety of unique security challenges, ranging from the physical security of sites and events, to the protection of our supply chain. You'll develop solutions to support our physical security capabilities, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our operation, and coordinate critical incidents affecting Apple. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of corporate site security or program management preferred, global experience is a plus Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a customer service focus Adaptability: Proficiency in responding swiftly to evolving situations in a time-sensitive environment. Project Management: Proven experience managing, coordinating and maintaining multiple projects Problem Solving: Ability to think quickly and perform problem-solving tasks within dynamic conditions Initiative: Demonstrate excellent communication with a strong attention to detail and courage to take initiative and drive projects to completion Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally Organization: Strong organizational skills Presentation Skills: Experience crafting Keynotes and presenting to senior management Availability: Flexibility to work during various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and willingness to travel 10 - 25% of the time with on-call responsibilities. Description Description The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert (SME) ensuring a site remains secure, assess security risks, develop internal controls for privacy, incident prevention or proprietary information theft and ensure that employees are safe. In addition, the duties include but are not limited to:
Work with leaders from the business groups who request security services to ensure each assignment and the scope of work are well planned, executed and confidential
Perform security audits and assessments, review procedures and constantly evaluate facility activity/operations for security weaknesses that may reduce the facilities overall security posture
Establish relationships with law enforcement, government agencies, EHS, facilities and outside vendors
Manage daily security operations including the contract security guarding deployment
Develop an in-depth understanding of Apple’s businesses and needs
Build, implement and maintain site or project specific security procedures and plans
Prepare and maintain security records for the site and complete routine statistical reports.
Prepare operations orders as they relate to special events at the site
Field security requests for short-term and non-recurring assignments
Lead all aspects of a security budget, develop cost savers and resource planning
Assist on other GS projects as requested Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements - Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly. This position also requires the ability to push or pull loaded carts and pallets of goods occasionally. - Familiarity with Apple’s products and basic troubleshooting preferred. - Experience with logistics, shipping services, and customs clearance preferred. - Your schedule is flexible. Work hours will be based on business needs and this role will require some early mornings or late evenings. You will occasionally be called on to monitor and resolve issues after hours and on weekends.
