Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5 years of quality engineering experience Familiar with computer science fundamentals, including operating systems and TCP/IP networking Experience with black box and end user testing Experience with developing test plans and cases Proficient with debugging through log analysis and A/B regression testing Experience with WiFi or Bluetooth (BLE) test, a plus Capable of working on and communicating program needs cross-functionally Experience qualifying real products and championing customer experience Thrives in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate complex issues Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers Description Description As a HomeKit Sr QA Software Engineer you will be working on protocol, api, and end-to-end testing of the software stack and help define the user experience. We are looking for highly collaborative and motivated team members with a passion for quality engineering in home automation. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
