Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Previous experience with software QA testing and testing methodologies Strong understanding and application of scripting and programming languages such as Swift, Python, Bash, and Javascript Experience in writing and maintaining automated test suites Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Exceptional attention to detail Excellent understanding of triaging problems Ever present curiosity about emerging technologies Creative thinker and strong problem solver Description Description You will be joining a dynamic team responsible for delivering best-of-class battery life for iOS/iPadOS. As an iOS End User Battery Life Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for testing currently shipping and newly developed features for iPhone and iPad. You will be creating test plans, executing manual tests, writing and maintaining automated tests, submitting, triaging, and escalating bug reports of battery life issues. Successful candidates will have excellent organizational skills. You’ll be running and maintaining many different tests at a time across many difference scenarios and need to keep careful track of the results, as well as the creativity and initiative to help us proactively discover battery life issues and areas of improvement. You’ll also have an amazing opportunity to work with cross-functional teams on planning for the next set of cool features which will take our products to the next level. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,800 and $229,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
