This position entails frequent interaction with carriers, infra vendors, marketing, software engineering, hardware engineering and regulatory teams. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Minimum of 8 years prior engineering experience working on phones or similar products that operate on cellular networks Solid understanding of wireless technologies: UMTS, LTE, 5G-NR Experience with networking protocols and core network architecture Proven experience in C/C++ coding in POSIX or embedded environment Broad experience in overall system design, implementation, and software architectures Experience working with vendors/partner, and strong software program or project management experience System software release experience Willingness to travel as necessary Description Description The primary responsibility of Carrier Technology Manager is use chipset, carrier and network infrastructure roadmaps to help internal software and hardware development teams align, plan and design new cellular features for upcoming products. As a part our team, you will have the opportunity to work on both 3GPP as well as in-house features, collaborate with cross functional teams to define the feature roadmap, lead end to end solution architecture as well as influence the user experience. You will also work directly with infrastructure partners and carriers, pitch new ideas and conduct technical deep dives to align the eco system on device and network behavior keeping in mind the overall use case. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,800 and $229,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
