With the growth of Apple products across the worldwide manufacturing sites, we have created new opportunities for individuals to work on the most exciting new products introduced by Apple. We are seeking for individual with strong test knowledge/skills. This position will reside in one of the manufacture site and works closely with the various engineering to support the needs for operational team. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years of work experience in any of assembly, inspection, test station design, test development, maintenance and / or automation equipment. Knowledgeable in crafting tester qualification requirements including calibration, correlation, capability, repeatability and reproducibility, design of experiments and failure analysis Knowledgeable in production control processes, data analysis/interpretation GR&R, Cp/Cpk and correlation analysis. Experienced in software/script programming and capable of doing software development of implementation of manufacturing test Excellent interpersonal skill with good spoken and written English, also proficient in Indic. Mandarin is an added advantage. Able to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in dynamic environment. Knowledge and experience in test technology/methodology development in particular HW function will be an added advantage Knowledge and experience in fixture/mechanical design, data analysis or machine learning will be an added advantage Description Description - Work with Apple internal team and CM/OEM to drive RF test readiness from NPI to RAMP.
- Manage test station software validation and deployment.
- Work together with CM test team to manage test station bring-up and maintenance.
- Drive failure analysis and machine issue resolution when working with tester suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Drive end to end test optimization through the application of theoretical and practical engineering
- Provide direction and mentorship to third party vendors/automation suppliers and/or CM’s; be the technical leader and driver on owned projects; serve as a technical resource to other engineering groups and project leaders
- Prepare and present concise test engineering program status updates to the exec team on a regular basis.
- Performs assignments in several of the following manufacturing engineering functions: a) Design for Testability; b) Product Life Cycle; c) Test Process; d) Failure/Data Analysis Education & Experience Education & Experience Engineering Degree, preferably Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Communication Engineering
