We are seeking an experienced individual to lead the Apple Music Business in Mexico and Spanish-Speaking Latin America. We are looking for someone knowledgeable and passionate about music, partner relations, and content strategy. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Extensive work experience in the music industry and deep comprehension of the entertainment business. A proven track record of having led artist-focused creative projects end to end. Proficiency in Spanish and English is required. Positive attitude and strong ability to work internationally with a variety of teams and personalities in partnership across timezones. A highly developed start-up mentality. Extraordinary social and relationship-building interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with a diversity of personalities, industry execs, artists and managers. Experience in strategic business planning to drive subscription engagement and growth. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously. A skill to analyze and communicate results clearly and effectively to leaders with proficiency in Excel/Numbers and Keynote. A deep understanding of music marketing in pop culture and how to apply principles to consistently grow Apple Music’s share of voice with partners. Collaborative partner: capacity to work cross-functionally in a team environment. You have a good understanding of the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware (iOS, macOS, Apple Music, iTunes, App Store, Podcasts, Apple TV, etc.) You are creative and resourceful and know how to think different. Description Description We are looking for a leader to help cultivate a stronger and deeper connection with the community of content owners and creators who represent music recordings from Latin America as well as be a strong advocate and leader internally at Apple.
In this role, you will:
Craft and implement strategic plans that positions Apple as a leader for Music in Latin America.
Build, maintain and expand business relationships with established and developing artists, management agencies and labels.
Work cross-functionally and liaise with all elements of Apple Music to identify, develop and deploy key artist and content opportunities. This includes editorial, radio, marketing, PR, production, legal, design, brand experience (original content & events) and international.
Encourage the editorial team to craft the best editorial experience possible.
Continuously seek to improve and redefine the approach needed to grow the business, while delivering results on all priority projects.
Devise strategic partnerships with the Business Development and Apple Music marketing teams, creating plans to drive engagement and increase the subscription funnel.
Be responsible for generating increased awareness in all of our partners.
Plan artist engagement based on the music strategy and release planning.
Secure cross-platform opportunities within the wider Apple ecosystem - Apps, Podcasts, Apple TV+, Retail and more.
Balance deadlines and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
