The GPU Graphics and Display (GGD) Software EPM team is seeking an experienced manager to lead a team of project managers who are responsible for driving delivery of cross-functional technology projects providing the graphics foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, HomePod and Apple Watch. We are seeking a talented EPM manager to lead a talented group of Program managers supporting the UI Composting, Rendering and Display & Color technologies teams. In this role you will lead and grow an existing team responsible for providing program management support for our display & color and UI compositing software. The projects in these teams span from interacting with low-level HW teams to HI design and other SW frameworks that we interface with to get the best UI compositing experience on our platform. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience. 2+ years of managing and mentoring project managers is desirable. Driving large cross-functional efforts across major technical subject areas in SW Engineering Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire team members. Solid analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence up, down and cross functionally. Experience with leading and enhancing existing processes and engineering new processes at scale. Experience with HW acceleration layers, Graphics SW or Compositing and UI Rendering Frameworks, is a serious plus. Description Description As the Manager of this team, you will hire, lead, coach, inspire and nurture a team of Engineering Project Managers that are tasked with identifying & driving improvements in how we manage complex projects with the UI / System Experience teams on new UI features while continuing to meet our ambitious performance goals across platforms. In addition, the team will be responsible for projects driving the SW architecture that delivers accurate color across Apple products and taking advantage of displays for best Front os screen experiences. You will need to collaborate with other program management teams across SWE, SEG, HW & design teams to improve how we deliver projects in Apple at large. Partner with Engineering leadership and help define and build roadmaps for Color, UI compositing and rendering areas. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,400 and $289,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
