As a Cellular 4G/5G Firmware Lab Technician, you will be at the center of the embedded 5G/4G/multimode cellular firmware effort within a silicon design group responsible for crafting and productizing groundbreaking cellular SoCs! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in wireless verification including setting up in an automated environment. Experience with trouble-shooting computer and computer network related issues. Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings, including schematics, layouts and other technical documents. Using basic hand tools, multimeter and other electronic tools. Knowledge of basic electronics and soldering. Strong level of expertise with either Excel or Numbers. Strong organizational skills. Familiar with MacOS and iOS. Familiar with key networking concepts and configurations. Experience with cellular test equipment is a plus. Experience with IT support is a plus. Description Description • Assisting firmware verification engineers and multi-functional teams in lab setup and planning based on given space, power and cooling capabilities.
• Setup, manage and maintain test hardware including debugging setup related issues.
• Manage and maintain sufficient inventory of key equipment including cables, connectors and adapters. Education & Experience Education & Experience Minimum AA/AS degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical programs + 3 years. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $35.15 and $61.34/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
