This is an exciting role where you will have visibility to multi-functional teams. We are an exciting team within the Mac design team. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong organization skills and experience leading shared workspaces 5+ years as a lab technician is a plus 3-5 years using soldering tools, electrical lab equipment Deep knowledge in computer skills: Mac & PC Experience in reading and interpreting electronic schematics Knowledge of basic circuit design and analysis Circuit debugging skills is helpful and a plus Excellent computer skills including interacting with terminal consoles, scripting, and using a - CAD board file viewer like Allegro or OrCAD Excellent communications skills including the ability to create documents like rework instructions with clear steps from beginning to end Willingness to use hand and power tools to assemble and disassemble large and small products Ability to work independently using written instructions to complete tasks Manage lab equipment by arranging calibration and maintaining a current inventory list Be willing to purchase lab equipment and electronic parts from multiple vendors Responsible for Environmental, Health and Safety of the Lab (EHS) Description Description CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Hand soldering experience with emphasis on: - Reworking fine-pitch SMT parts including BGA parts - Attaching probes and wires to printed circuit boards - Creating wire bundles and harnesses with any kind of connector Education & Experience Education & Experience EDUCATION: 2-4 year degree/diploma in a scientific field or equivalent related experience.
