Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Bio-Mechanics, Kinesiology, Sports Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Analytical problem solving State-of-the-art scientific equipment, such as biomechanics testing facilities including motion capture systems, force platforms, pressure mapping systems Prototyping Programming (Matlab or Python). Develop new tools, methods, procedures for analyzing human and product data. Human subjects study design and execution Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Deliver science-backed design insights for the development of hardware products. Design and carry out novel experiments that drive systematic, iterative product design. Frame research questions, conducting studies, analyzing data, interpreting results, and communicating actionable insights for product designs. Gather robust biomechanics data and synthesize it with subjective participant feedback, creatively adapting and developing new research methods when needed. Balance scientific curiosity and engineering practicality work hands-on with prototypes, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary experts. Work with mechanical, electrical, and soft goods engineers on building novel and custom instrumentations. Communicate scientific findings in a concise and actionable manner is an essential skill. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 - $208,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
