Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: 3D CAD Design & Modelling 2D Design Drawing Tolerance Analysis Manufacturing Design of Experiments Prototype design and fabrication Finite Element Analysis Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Responsible for the full life cycle design, development and validation of future individual parts and modules within Apple products in the home space. Initial architecture planning, 3D CAD and 2D drawings, defining and completing critical Tolerance Analysis to ensure successful Mass Production assembly, cross-functional management of system modules design and integration, vendor and manufacturer communication and support to develop all required fixtures and processes. Design parts with a broad range of manufacturing processes for metals, plastics and soft goods. Run critical Design of Experiments (DOE) to ensure open engineering options can be validated in meaningful and technically sound ways to down select final solutions. International Travel Required 10% 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 - $208,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
