Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computational Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Java Python Distributed Programming, distributed applications, service-oriented architecture Machine Learning Models Statistical text analysis NoSQL database Distributed computation frameworks and data stores: Spark and HDFS Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Design, develop, test, and deploy backend software that is scalable and distributed across multiple data centers. Design algorithms for processing of metadata across media types. Analyze data from providers and partners to come up with appropriate models for entity and relationship extraction, and entity mapping. Prototype models and perform data analysis using Python. Design Cassandra and Solr queries for efficient data access. Create microservices and Implement production quality code using Java, and Python. Provide technical leadership and drive overall design and planning. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700 - $243,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
