Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in job offered or related position. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Object Oriented Design Hadoop or Distributed Systems Databases and SQL Shell scripting Python Kafka Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Design and develop data pipelines for Payments data products for Apple. Address any critical issues or bugs reported on the applications running on production systems. Collect and document new business requirements and translate to technical specifications. Design solutions based on technical specifications. Develop code based on the design using Spark, Java, Scala, Kafka, Cassandra and other Big Data technologies. Integrate with other systems. Responsible for production deployment and monitoring. Monitor performance and tune. Plan and develop proof of concept with emerging technologies. Review source code to identify defect and performance issues. Complete peer reviews and brainstorming sessions. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 - $198,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
