Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computational Geometry or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: C++ Python Algorithm development Graph algorithms Geometric algorithms Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California. Develop navigation systems in three dimensional space. Implement trigonometric functions and geometric analysis to construct a smooth and visually accurate path to give appropriate navigation directions and aid in the global expansion of Apple’s proprietary base map. Determine various modes of transportation for biking, cycling, walking, driving using proprietary mathematical models and contraction hierarchies. Create a practical experience of making an algorithm perform efficiently upon implementation. Build real-time big data solutions which impact Apple’s production level code and solutions. Participating in design and code reviews. Assist with various team and support needs to ensure systems are well maintained and projects remain on schedule. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,662 - $208,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
