Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Modeling using demand forecasting tools such as Python Packages, Demantra and statistical tools such as the R or Statistical Analysis System (SAS) Data modeling to support business report creation SQL and BO Production support capability with the following systems: an enterprise resource planning system such as SAP, Enterprise Data Warehouse systems (EDW), and Bill of Material (BOM) management SAS or R Statistical Modeling Linear programming, optimization Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Design, develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services/ product enhancement. Interact with product/service teams to identify questions for data analysis and experiments. Develop and code software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identify meaningful insights from large data sources. Interpret and communicate insights/ findings from analysis/experiments to product, service, and business managers. Build data pipelines to set the foundation for data analysis. Build data visualization/dashboards to provide data insights for decision making. Create business cases to identify business opportunities. Identify product optimization opportunities through instrumentation and product funnel analysis. Conduct financial planning and forecasting. Build prescriptive analysis to estimate product feature impact. 40 hours/week.
