Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience and/or education must include: Failure analysis Statistical Analysis Design of Experiments (DOE) Assembly process and testing methodologies Quality control and management tools Description Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California. Ensure product quality during pre-launch development cycle. Drive quality improvement actions on future products. Develop and drive test correlation, metrology systems, sampling methods, and cosmetics requirements. Lead Process FMEAs on new technologies and manufacturing processes. Lead technical Failure Analysis to support root cause analysis and issue resolution. Bring up capable suppliers which can execute at a high level in an ongoing basis. Generate Product Quality Plan (PQP). Establish quality monitoring mechanisms which generate meaningful metrics providing indication of outgoing quality at all nodes in supply chain. Enable a mass production capable of manufacturing processes and developing plans to validate new product quality at each development landmark. Develop capable suppliers that can be both technology and scaling partners. International Travel Required 25%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,229 - $181,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
