Come to Apple and be at the center of action on new silicon product development for Apple's groundbreaking products as an Engineering Program Manager (EPM). You will get the opportunity to drive development of SOCs that power Apple’s extraordinary product lines. In this high profile role you will work with the Engineering teams (silicon/software/system) to optimally launch New Products and drive debugs in NPI and MP. As an EPM within Apple’s Silicon Engineering Group (SEG) organization, you will be responsible for planning, implementation, and ongoing support of silicon. The SEG environment is dynamic and ever-changing. You'll join a very impactful team. Need to be an excellent communicator, able to absorb vague discussions and quickly summarize the problem. The ability to prioritize and react quickly is a key requirement. The EPM would provide engineering support for the development and validation of groundbreaking silicon, spanning engineering design phases through production release, ramp and post-ramp. Apple seeks highly skilled Program Manager with Product / Test engineering background to lead programs for New Product Introduction (NPI) of Apple's state of the art SoCs. You will have key responsibilities that directly impact Apple’s product line success, working with the Product, Test and DFT Engineering teams to ensure successful launch of New Products and Mass Production support of high volume SoC’s powering Apple’s best-in-class mobile product lines. You will apply your deep technical expertise, along with effective program / project management skills, to drive program schedules and resolve technical issues that enable on-time quality silicon delivery to Apple products. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience in SOC / Design, Validation, DRAM, Product/Test Engineering. Technical Program Management/ Engineering Management experience is a bonus. Prior experience delivering a high volume of complex SoCs. Experience in silicon validation, leading silicon projects from concept to production. Prior experience working with Foundry / OSATs is a bonus. Excellent debugging skills and ability to drive resolution of critical problems with tight deadlines. Ability to understand and extract action plans from sophisticated technical discussions and translate into succinct messaging for multi-functional and executive status reporting. Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplined engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking, and real-time crisis management. Dedication to own/drive project development using well-defined metrics. Extraordinary leadership with dedication to collaboration. Excellent communicator. Experience in a fast paced schedule driven development. Description Description - Work in a PM team responsible for enabling SOCs to meet critical product schedules. - Lead tight collaboration between multi-functional teams - Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Silicon Validation, Software, GSM, and Systems. - Drive technical discussions and debugs in Mass Production from SOC perspective. - Drive requirements and assess productization risk for SOCs in new product segments. - Interface and drive closure of critical silicon issues with multi-functional teams to enable successful SoC mass production ramp. - Focused progress tracking, organizing and reporting of program risks, status and options for resolution to executive management. - Drive simple and effective methods from “lessons learned” to avoid quality and execution issues early in development cycle. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
