The WebKit framework powers many system applications, including Safari, Mail, and Books. This team ensures that every pixel of web content is drawn correctly, quickly, and securely. The team modernizes the existing architecture and pioneers new layout and rendering features. Weʼre looking for leaders with exceptional problem solving skills, a passion for quality, and the desire to push the web forward! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience with mentoring, career development, project planning, and executive reporting Detailed knowledge of web standards: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, DOM Experience with web programming languages, or system development in C++ Excellent debugging, critical thinking, and communication skills Description Description The role of the WebKit Layout and Rendering Manager is to manage individual contributors and cross-functional projects in order to develop new features and improve correctness, performance, and security in WebKit’s Layout and Rendering engine. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $210,900 and $364,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
