AC Wellness Network LLC is a subsidiary of Apple Inc. and is the dedicated management services organization (MSO) for AC Wellness, a dedicated independent medical group that serves Apple Wellness Centers in Santa Clara Valley. Our mission is to deliver the world’s best healthcare experiences for Apple employees. The MSO team is looking for an extraordinary Machine Learning Engineer with a background in large scale engineering projects. You will enjoy building services that Data Science and Application developers will leverage to shape exceptional experiences for our employees and customers. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years experience crafting and implementing modular, composable services, using pioneering technology stacks 1+ year hosting ML & LLM’s and understanding of Model Development 2+ years working on highly available, high-volume, low latency services at scale 2+ years experience with AWS w/ container services (k8s preferred) Preferred Experience in Go, Java or Kotlin Description Description As an ML Engineer, you are ready to solve big problems, enjoy working in an agile and dynamic multi-functional team, love data, and want to make a huge impact in health. Some of your characteristics include: - Experience building highly available and fault tolerant systems - Experience with software development tools on Linux - Consistent track record of shipping services in production environments for consumer facing products - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills - Experience handling performance, application and security log management - Strong coding experience and capable of picking up new languages - Strong analytical thinking to tackle challenging problems Education & Experience Education & Experience BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements - Comfortable working with and across teams - Ability to succeed in a self-directed environment - Comfortable with weekly on-call rotation - Reliable and responsive to support the team’s needs - Experience handling Pen Testing and Secure Applications is a plus Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
