We are seeking a Studies Engineering Program Manager to lead human study efforts in collecting data critical to the development and validation of new health sensors and algorithms. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years of shown project management experience Proven understanding of human research studies lifecycle with the ability to quickly adapt to changing direction Strong organizational and management skills with a track record of timely project delivery Self-motivated and proactive with critical thinking and resourcefulness to drive projects to success Excellent cross-functional and executive level communication skills Able to prioritize issues and track the details as well as be in touch with the big picture. Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity — able to rapidly optimize across many variables to problem solve and optimally guide decisions Description Description This Studies EPM role interacts with a multitude of teams, including engineering, clinical, data analysis, regulatory, legal, procurement, and other project management teams. A successful SEPM thrives on collaboration and consensus building in an ever shifting environment, working with teams clarify goals and develop the study strategy to support them. This person loves to analyze a variety of options, develop risk mitigation plans, and lead the program-level budgets and forecasts. Education & Experience Education & Experience • B.S. degree in biomedical engineering or any engineering field or equivalent • Experience in clinical research advantageous, but not required • Experience in R&D or consumer product development a plus - familiarity with the changing dynamics of research and development will help you succeed in this role Additional Requirements Additional Requirements • Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting at a program level • Experience in executive level communications • Some travel may be required, up to approximately 10% Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
