The Services Digital Advertising team at Apple is responsible for driving new customer acquisition as well as encouraging awareness and education of Apple’s full suite of services, through a variety paid digital marketing channels.
We are in search of an experienced Paid Search Specialist to join the Apple Services Digital Marketing team. This role will be a part of planning, building, and managing paid search PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns in self-service SEM platforms (Google, Bing, and other search engines). Along with campaign planning and setup in platform, you continually find ways to improve performance efficiency through ongoing optimization. Focusing on in-depth analysis leading to actionable insights, trend spotting, strategic pacing, and performance optimization of the paid search channel.
We work collaboratively with digital marketing strategy, ad ops, analytics, and measurement teams to deliver end-to-end execution and performance management of paid search campaigns. To be successful in this role, you should have experience defining and measuring short- and long-term marketing success across paid search, and have a strong passion for data storytelling. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 4+ years of proven experience in a paid search marketing role, in either agency or client-side Expertise in paid search self-service platforms (i.e. Google Ads, SA360, Marin, Microsoft Ad Center - Google Ads Certification a plus) Expert understanding of targeting/optimization levers & testing approaches across search buying platforms A solid understanding of the principles of PPC campaigns, digital marketing, web analytics, and SEO (familiarity with other digital media channels like programmatic and paid social is helpful!) Understanding of performance-based media optimization and subscription marketing, marketing attribution & alternative measurement methodologies Build strategic tailored plans to reach target audiences and deliver media objectives Strong data analyzation, visualization and presentation skills; understanding of how to tailor communications to stakeholders with various levels of digital media literacy Ability to build close relationships within and across teams with excellent social, oral and written communication skills Description Description You will be responsible for active day-to-day management of search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns for multiple Apple Services businesses. This will include development of campaign strategies, initial campaign setup, in-market optimizations, supervising creative/copy needs, and delivering performance reporting. Working hand-in-hand with your counterpart channel specialists, marketing strategists, internal creative team.
You will actively manage and optimize paid search campaigns, across several lines of business. This includes generating keyword builds, analyzing search query reports for new opportunities, crafting performance-optimized ad copy, analyzing landing page experiences and conversion funnels, and making enhancements where possible.
Working with the data and operations team, you’ll manage trafficking and tagging of campaigns to track performance. Regularly reviewing campaign structure and performance both within search management platforms (i.e. Google Ads, SA360, Microsoft Ad Center, Marin) and via internal reporting dashboards. You will also manage campaign budget trackers, ensuring we stay on budget, appropriately forecasting quarterly costs and reconciling any discrepancies. Demonstrating clear and detailed understanding of search marketing, while delivering strategic campaigns to successfully hit directed KPIs.
Validating campaign performance through strategic testing will be vital to crafting successful storytelling of the value of paid search PPC buying practices. Thus, working closely with campaign strategy and analytics leads will be imperative. This role will also involve preparing and presenting campaign performance reports to internal stakeholders. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $104,000 and $158,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
