Apple's RF Systems Engineering team is looking for passionate, self-motivated individuals to work on system bring-up and validation of GNSS technologies on Apple products. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience working on wireless system (GNSS) integration, development and validation processes. Practical knowledge of wireless test verification and validation test equipment and systems including building blocks, RF systems characteristics of building blocks, test system design, implementation and commissioning. Experience with wireless system design verification / validation and working with firmware / software engineers to enable such verifications. Hands-on experience using lab equipment including spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, and/or packet sniffer. Working knowledge and experience in one or more programming language Swift, Python, C++, Java and C is a plus. Ability to travel domestically & internationally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Description Description You will be involved in planning, developing, implementing testing setups and procedures in support of ensuring GNSS parametric and performance during product development. Examples of activities you may be involved in are: - Design, develop, and implement procedures for the testing and evaluation of products during product development to meet Apple standards. - Planning and tracking status and preparedness for GNSS validation covering a wide range of test cases on GNSS technologies on the conducted level. - Defining Test methodologies, developing test sequence, validating firmware / software feature preparedness for characterizing GNSS. - Identify test related readiness, issues and optimizations during product development cycle. - Collaborating closely at different lab sites (3rd party labs, Factory CM and Apple labs) to ensure setup correlations and planned test completion. - Work closely with Wireless System Engineer or System Validation Engineer to debug and root cause issues. - Own the optimization and improvement of test methodologies to enhance operational efficiency in NPI characterization. - Make recommendations for changes required in testing procedures and methodologies, manufacturing processes, and/or new testing requirements. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor’s and 3+ years of experience preferred. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $40.59 and $72.20/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
