If so, Apple's Global Business Intelligence (GBI) team is seeking a Data Engineer to build high quality, scalable and resilient distributed systems that power Apple's analytics platform and data pipelines. This role offers a great opportunity to engage directly with key business partners to understand their needs. Working closely with a talented team of engineers and data scientists you will deliver data solutions that harness the potential of AI/ML and cutting edge technologies to ensure maximum business impact. The Global Business Intelligence team provides a wide range of data solutions to business groups right across Apple using diverse technology stacks such as Snowflake,SingleStore, HANA, Spark and beyond. Crafting, developing and scaling these big data technologies is a core part of our daily job. The ideal candidate should have passion for building analytics solutions to enable our business partners to make time sensitive and critical decisions. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Min 3-5 years hands-on development experience in relational database technologies (Snowflake & Singlestore preferred) Hands on experience in Business Intelligence & analytics projects Hands on experience in Python is a plus Experience with AI and Machine Learning a plus Exposure to cloud methodologies and experience with AWS is a plus Passionate about data and its nuances and curious about the underlying business context Description Description Help design and build large scale internal analytics solutions that combine Cloud technologies, large datasets & ML Design and build data structures on Snowflake and Amazon S3 to provide efficient reporting and analytics capability Deliver highly scalable data pipelines for analytics and data science use cases Build data and reporting solutions ( in platforms such as SingleStore) that are highly optimised for fast data access Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, meeting design standards Build dashboards using Self-Service tools like Tableau and perform iterative data analysis to support the business Collaborate with the team to develop solutions and tools that leverage AI and ML to enable smarter data-driven decisions and predictions for our business customers Stay abreast of the latest technology to generate innovative ideas to solve key business challenges Collaborate with multiple cross functional teams and work on solutions which can have a significant impact Education & Experience Education & Experience Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines.
