We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Critical Facilities Technician. This position entails maintaining and operating key infrastructure systems in a variety of locations. This position's major qualities, duties, and criteria are summarized below: Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Data Center environments, controls, power generation, UPS (uninterruptible power supply), STS (static transfer switches), ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch), batteries, critical facilities, troubleshooting, Electrical systems, electrical codes, Generators, and motors are all areas of expertise. Ability to undertake physically demanding jobs, such as lifting goods weighing up to 50-75 pounds. Capable of scaling ladders of varying heights. Use of suitable personal protection equipment (PPE) in varied situations, such as ARC Flash suits and coveralls Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients. Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner. Respond to emergency calls. Technical Proficiency Initiative Flexibility Multi-Tasking Sense of Urgency Description Description This position necessitates exceptional communication and time management abilities. Candidates should typically have 5 years of similar experience in a critical environment. Team members are expected to work efficiently and autonomously with little supervision. They must be able to provide sound recommendations for solutions while adhering to established protocols. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and suppliers is critical for success. Education & Experience Education & Experience Must demonstrate a working knowledge of electrical, and life safety systems typically used in critical environments. Electrical graduate of the apprentice program or trade school preferred Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and MAC Knowledgeable in energy management systems. knowledge in all building system operations, maintenance, and repair. May be only maintenance staff members on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority or emergency situations (including overtime-type assignments); may require shift work and/or on-call duties. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $47.75 and $71.65/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
