Apple’s International Marketing team is looking to recruit the best and most diverse entry level talent to join our multi-disciplinary Marketing organization in Shanghai for a 18-month assignment. Each Marketing Associate will be assigned a mentor and scope of work giving them project responsibility across our products and services such as iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Health, HomePod, AppleTV, iOS, MacOS, and more. Through the program Associates will gain invaluable experience across all Marketing functions, as well as exposure to the broader Apple regional organization. The Associates will report into the respective Geo Marketing Lead, and will be assigned to a Manager/Mentor(s) for the assignment term. To be successful in the program Associates will need to have a passion for Apple products, an openness to learn, innate curiosity to be better, a strong ability to collaborate, deploy creative and innovative problem solving, and build strong relationships across the organization. Throughout the program Associates will be evaluated by leadership on their performance and at the conclusion of the assignment assessed on final presentation of project work for a full time role at Apple. English and Mandarin Chinese fluency required. Description Description We are looking for a highly-motivated Marketing specialist working flexible hours to join the Greater China Product Marketing team based in Shanghai. You will collaborate with relevant partners to drive successful product launches and sustain momentum, to build consistent yet relevant customer messaging, understanding and excitement about the product. You will also develop product and market insights, define and communicate local requirements to Worldwide Product Marketing and other partners. To be successful, you should demonstrate a strong passion for Apple products and be an authentic, hands-on product evangelist for Apple’s products and services. You are expected to have a solid understanding and experience in marketing innovative products, the ability to tell engaging product stories, and to distill business and customer insights to help inform decisions. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: - Closely follow and analyse related product categories in China, including technology and consumer trends, competitive landscape, to make recommendations how our products fit into these emerging trends. - Analyse and identify product improvement opportunities, and build a case to support the asks to Worldwide Product Marketing - Set up product, prepare and deliver product messages at media briefings and events - Evaluate sales performance metrics to derive insights, identify challenges, and recognize opportunities to propel the business forward. The successful candidate will also experience rotational placements in to the Corporate Communications and Marketing Communications teams within the Marketing organisation. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree and above; with 1-3 years work experience OR fresh graduates (no working experience required) with Master’s degree.
