This position requires a dedicated engineer with phenomenal initiative. The ideal candidate should be familiar with working on a fast paced/changing environment! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience developing & optimising BIOS/Firmware/Drivers Working with & debugging Electromechanical Fixtures Working with Instrumentation (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analysers etc…) Software development, in particular C, C++, C# or equivalent Hardware fault analysis Prototyping & NPI Support Problem solving, documentation & communication skills Must work well in a multi-functional team environment Engineering Project management experience Familiarity with Apple hardware and software beneficial Statistical/Analytical skills beneficial Computing knowledge beneficial Description Description - Development & maintenance of low/medium level software to interact with, and test hardware - Test process design, development, & implementation - Install of test stations for factory environment - Creation, testing & maintenance of factory test software for Apple products - Continuous process improvement and optimisation, driving key performance metrics (Yield, UPH, Order Cycle Time, Cost, Scrap, DPPM, CPK etc.) - Provide direction and support to Regional technical support teams - Data analysis (test results, key metrics etc.) - Documentation creation and release - Participate in new projects for global implementation - Work closely with Test Engineering, HW and SW teams worldwide Education & Experience Education & Experience - B.Eng (Hons), M.Eng in Electronic / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent proven experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform crucial job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
