Cloud Technologies App Platform team is looking for an extraordinary Machine Learning engineer to join our team. You will help design and implement our machine learning strategy to take our developer experience platform to the next level and help accelerate app development inside Apple. We will be collaborating and working with multi-functional teams and applying algorithms to large-scale data. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years of overall experience in the software industry 3+ years of AIML Proven understanding and experience in advanced machine learning algorithms, deep learning, statistics, and large language models (LLM). Proven experience with transformer models such as BERT, GPT, RoBERTa, etc., and a proven understanding of their underlying principles is a plus Model optimization and fine tuning of LLMs for better performance, latency, memory and throughput * Strong software development skills with proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX Building MLOps infrastructure for experimentation and A/B testing and production deployment and operations. Experience with MLOps technology: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, MLFlow/DVC/ClearML, Airflow Setting up LangChain pipeline including prompt engineering and parsing Ability to meaningfully present results of analyses in a clear and impactful manner. Able to break down sophisticated machine learning model knowledges to digestible information for non-technical audience. Experience in applying ML techniques in developer productivity is a plus Description Description App Platform team provides frameworks, services and developer tools to internal engineering teams in Apple to accelerate their SDLC. We are working on a Generative AI based developer experience platform for internal use and assist our app development team. You will work with data scientists, software engineers and operations to deliver and end to end ML enabled solution for this platform. You will work with data scientists to deploy and evaluate different models and fine tune it to custom needs. You will also explore many integrations using tools like LangChain, IDE plugins, git based hooks to innovate on ways to improve developer experience. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
