We would like to offer the unique opportunity to be a part of the Sensor Software and Prototyping organization at Apple - we get to work closely with hardware teams and tackle many different challenges around devices with embedded sensors and sensing firmware, software and algorithms (e.g. biometrics, health, input sensing areas). Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Strong Python programming skills A proven understanding of image processing or pattern recognition and machine learning Understanding of statistical theory and applications Ability to initiate and drive experiments to completion with minimal guidance including the ability to distill complex analysis into concise summaries and clear conclusions Strong analytical and problem solving skills English language proficiency and strong communication skills Available for 3 months or more Description Description You will be responsible for generating key insights and data-driven recommendations to design and improve algorithms processing data from sensors. You will be working within a team researching and developing strategic algorithms for next generation products. Education & Experience Education & Experience Currently enrolled in your penultimate year of studies in a quantitative technical field i.e. computer science, mathematics, computer engineering, data science or statistics.
