Experience in implicit and explicit finite element analysis (FEA). Attention to details and commitment to verification/validation. Self-motivated to identify areas for improvement and drive innovation. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and written and verbal communication. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with passion for creating cutting edge products. Preferred experience in polymer testing and modeling. Preferred experience with Abaqus. Description Description As the cornerstone between material science and mechanical engineering, design experiments to characterize materials, advance mathematical descriptions and simulation workflow, and validate them at various scales to deploy to the company-wide FEA community. Be a communication channel with suppliers and vendors to explore new technologies and simulation methods. You will be fully integrated with the product design team from the earliest stages to support ground breaking products. Interpret the system level FEA results and compare with highly instrumented tests to close identified gaps through the bottom-up approach. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
