The candidate must be an out-of-box thinker and eager to explore creative solutions to solve challenging problems. In this unique position, the candidate will work with the Apple Display Engineering team in Santa Clara Valley to develop new methods to improve display performance, validate system integration, support mass production, and eventually being responsible for the front-of- screen experience of every Apple device with a small display. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Analytical skills with great attention to detail Excellent debugging, optimization and problem solving skills. Solid fundamentals in one of the following engineering/optics/signal processing/physics background to enable fast mastering of display technology Basic programming skills for one of the following Python/MATLAB/C/C++ Hands-on lab experiences including data acquisition using test equipments are highly desirable Knowledge and experience in displays is a plus, particularly in display optics and electronics Good verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate engineering passion, initiative, innovation, and creativity Strong sense of responsibility Self-motivated, independent Description Description • Characterize display performance through hands on measurements • Data analysis to evaluate electrical and optical performance • Work with team to understand fundamentals of display technology and existing workflows • Rethink existing workflows to devise creative ways to automate tasks • Bring up of prototype hardware and software • Assist team members in troubleshooting failures to root cause Education & Experience Education & Experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements
