Apple's RF Systems Engineering team is looking for a passionate, independent student intern, who is enrolled in a university program with focus on the area of Digital Signal Processing and System Simulation. Come and contribute to leading-edge transmit architectures and solutions for Apple’s wireless products that enable an outstanding customer experience! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Background in Digital Signal Processing is mandatory. Knowledge of wireless communications, transmitter architectures and modulation. Understanding of cellular radio standards is desired (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR), as well as key performance metrics for wireless communications. We require experience in System Simulation in Matlab and C++, SystemC is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, are essential to have. An organized, result-oriented style of working coupled with strong problem solving skills. Eagerness to learn new skills and take up new challenges. Description Description In this role, you will be part of the best-in-class cellular RFSE Team. You will work on the simulation of cellular transmitter architectures in Matlab and C++, including the modelling of analog and digital components. You will work with feature owners on the modelling of HW and control architectures. Your daily work includes the following tasks: Analyze the cellular transmit lineup by means of simulations (Matlab, C++, SystemC) Exercise performance simulation of cellular transceivers Contribute to the TX development and system simulation methodology Development of concepts for compilation, debugging and interfacing to other tools Behavioral modelling of RF components and DSP blocks Development of DSP blocks like filters, sample rate converters, frequency shifters. Education & Experience Education & Experience Currently enrolled in a Master Degree Program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements The minimum salary pursuant to the CBA amounts to €33,619 gross per year for full time employment. Actual salaries are oriented at current market salaries and take your qualifications and experience into account.
