THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a mid to senior-level Machine Learning Engineer to join our Machine Learning team. In this exciting role, you will utilize Betterview’s established machine learning workflow to help accelerate Betterview’s growth. As the perfect candidate, you will have experience in image recognition algorithms using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other deep learning frameworks. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Leading efforts to build and improve algorithms for identifying objects of interest in overhead imagery. Fusing data from other data sources, such as lidar, oblique imagery, or natural language data to analyze an image. Working in a collaborative environment with the rest of the core ML team and data science and engineering teams. Working in Python using a stack that consists of TensorFlow/PyTorch, SQLAlchemy, Postgres, RabbitMQ, and Kubernetes. From time-to-time, writing blog posts or other content that helps Betterview remain a thought leader in the InsurTech space.
