About the role As a Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our global employee compensation program.  You’ll manage our compensation program and initiatives, ensuring that they are aligned with our business goals as well as supporting us in attracting and retaining our talent.  You’ll lead compensation analyses, market benchmarking, running our compensation review and bonus cycles, and driving compensation reporting across the business.  As Apollo.io’s Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all compensation data in our systems.  You’ll collaborate closely with multiple teams across the organization including people, finance, and talent acquisition teams with a solutions-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy to attract, retain, and motivate talent in this highly competitive AI space Manage the annual compensation review program, merit budgets, equity planning, and structure adjustments Develop and maintain compensation planning models and tools Drive development of global total rewards benchmarking insights Lead our executive compensation programs, including executive benefits, equity and other incentive plans Conduct cost modeling and impact analyses related to compensation program changes Oversee market survey submission process with key partners Be our subject matter expert for market data, including understanding trends, processes, and timelines for the market data process and sharing these insights with key business leaders Ensure our data integrity through robust validation and reconciliation processes using various market data systems and our HRIS (Darwinbox) Facilitate a global benchmarking exercise across multiple regions  Interface with Finance, People Technology & Talent Acquisition, teams to support day-to-day functions as well as project-specific programs Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role, ideally within the technology industry Deep understanding of global compensation methodologies and best practices, with expertise in designing and delivering innovative compensation programs Experience with equity program management Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis and utilization of compensation survey data Familiarity with compensation compensation rules globally Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders Extremely data-driven and detail-oriented, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality  Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing compensation strategies aligned with business goals Ability to meet deadlines in a diverse and fast-paced environment Proficiency in compensation-related software and tools What You’ll Love About Apollo Besides the great compensation package and culture that thrives in openness and excellence, we invest tremendous effort into developing our remote employees’ careers.
