We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to support our vulnerability management program across all of our assets. This is a technical hands-on role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll be working with various application and system owners to report, review, triage vulnerabilities, as well as to drive remediations and to improve our current processes by driving the configurations and integration efforts. What You Get To Do Every Day
Design, implement and support short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure local and wide area network capacity meets existing and future requirements. This will include both physical and cloud technologies.
Installing, configuring, network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls including Palo Alto, SD-WAN, WiFi firewalls and access points
Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and security infrastructure (e.g. Meraki MX firewalls and Access Points)
Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation
Experience with network automation platforms (e.g., Ansible) and scripting for network automation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support
Set technical standards for network infrastructure, security baselines, policies, and procedures
Provide Tier 3 support for all network and data communication issues including internet circuits, routing protocols, VPN connectivity, WAN optimization, IVR, and 3rd party vendor connectivity
Administer, Configure, and Secure Palo Alto Firewalls
VOIP Administration: Working knowledge of Genesys Purecloud or other cloud contact center
Configure and integrate SaaS tools to centralize the vulnerability management program
What You Bring To The Role
Minimum 4 years in relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology; OR 5-8 years in relevant experience
Motivated and self-starter with good technical aptitude
Work with internal as well as external technical teams during design, development, and implementation phases of various network-related initiatives
Excellent oral and written communication skills: able to distill complicated issues into clear and concise terms and to create and maintain effective technical documentation
Hands on experience with Meraki products including switches routers, firewalls and access points
Experience with SD-WAN solutions like Cisco Viptela,VMware Velocloud or Silver Peak, Palo Alto Prisma
Proficiency in configuring and managing IVR systems
Project management skills, including the ability to work independently and within teams
Comfortable working in the Mac/Unix/Linux environment
Configuration experience with AWS networking
Proficiency in two or more programming or scripting languages: Elixir, Ruby on Rails, Go, Javascript, Java, Scala, C, C++, Python, PHP, Perl, Swift, Shell a plus
Participation in on-call rotation periodically which may involve non-traditional working hours
Functional programming experience preferred
Experience with monitoring tools (Preferably SolarWinds)
Experience implementing solutions in the cloud preferred
Relevant certifications preferred (CCNA, CISSP, CCNP)
The expected salary range for this role is $142,127.00 - $155,800.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
