As the authority on legal technology, we rely on you to optimize internal and external collaborations. We want you to consistently approach tasks with a builder's mindset – seek opportunities for efficiencies and help us continue to scale operations. This is a hybrid work schedule with Tuesdays and Thursdays in our San Francisco office.   What You’ll Do: Oversee Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Act as primary steward of our CLM system Spearhead its continuous enhancement and optimization throughout the organization Refine workflow designs Meticulously process map Craft and update playbooks Manage permissions, ownership, and user access Champion Legal Knowledge Management Implement and manage knowledge resources Initiate company-wide communications that ensure teams are informed of policies and processes Maintain Company Documents Continually curate and manage a repository of company forms, agreements, and templates for accuracy and relevance Innovate Technology Identify and introduce cutting-edge legal tools to streamline existing practices and introduce efficiencies Manage end-to-end process (from design to system rollout and training) Drive Strategic Initiatives Develop and execute comprehensive strategic and operational project plans Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams Lead legal operations initiatives Achieve defined objectives Monitor Progress and Metrics Identify and report key operational metrics Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and maintain timelines   What We Look For: Bachelor's degree (prefer law, economics, finance or business) 4+ years in legal operations at a technology company (prefer fintech) Demonstrated expertise with CLM software, including ability to build playbooks, automate repositories and develop policies (highly prefer Ironclad) Proven ability to build relationships and lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal supervision. Independently, you should be able to drive projects by efficiently securing support from diverse stakeholders Understanding of technical systems and tools commonly used by legal departments and highly motivated to stay updated on the latest Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Upgrade has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States and Canada, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.
