About the Role Twitch is looking for a collaborative, experienced, curious, and motivated Principal, US Tax Planning to focus on tax planning and tax controversy for our live-streaming platform and e-Commerce business. The primary areas of emphasis for this role will be US federal, state, and international tax issues. You will report to Twitch's Global Head of Tax. As Twitch continues to grow its live-streaming platform and our community, we are looking for an experienced candidate to work with our business teams applying their technical tax skills to support new products and projects in close partnership with multiple teams and senior executives to get projects across the finish line. You can work remote hybrid with commuting access to either the Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA office. You Will: Have a business-centric approach in collaborating and staying current with new product and content programs for US federal, state, and international tax analysis. Function as the primary tax lead in reviewing contracts, and drafting important tax requirements and related pla nning document s. Work with internal tax professionals within our team and at Amazon, and manage external tax planning advisors relating to US federal, state, and international tax deliverables. Perform periodic tax reviews and analysis to support Twitch's global expansion plans and the ever-evolving international tax landscape. Keep informed about changes in tax legislation in e-Commerce to identify potential impacts to Twitch's business and/or strategic planning opportunities. Communicate clear and concise tax advice to Twitch business teams and cross-functional stakeholders in support of key projects and initiatives. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.
