This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to lead high-performance teams through better business outcomes with high quality and efficiency.  This role is key to promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation leading to success. You will lead teams charged with architecting, building, and improving new and existing solutions. You will work collaboratively with PMs, UX marketing, finance, sales to drive business outcomes for SmartBear. About the role: Take a proactive approach to improving the entire software development life-cycle Leverage Agile best practices to manage the delivery of software through continuous deployment, integration and test-driven development Effectively communicate how the team’s work aligns to SmartBear’s mission, values, and company strategy Ensure the team’s successful delivery of value to the user/customer Collaborate cross-departmentally, building relationships to deliver on company goals Work effectively with product managers, engineers and leadership to assign resources across various projects, balancing customer needs and longer-­term product strategy Determine processes and metrics to ensure products are market ready Cultivate a culture of curiosity, ingenuity, partnership, speed, innovation and excellence while continuously elevating the quality  We are looking for someone who has: BS, MS, or PhD Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Equivalent Architectural planning and strategy Experience leading multiple scrum teams who follow agile methodologies Experience managing Engineering Managers  Experience working with global teams Curious problem solver People development Agile process and techniques Growing leadership and inspiring the next generation of leaders Why you should join the SmartBear crew: You can grow your career at every level.
