The Accounts Receivable Specialist II is responsible for customer cash collections, invoicing query resolution, and accounts receivable escalations. These activities include working directly with Smartsheet Customer and Sales team members to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve all billing, invoicing, and collection issues while delivering a high-quality, timely and effective customer experience. You will report to the Manager of Collections in San Jose, Costa Rica. The role is remote-eligible in Costa Rica. You Will: Develop and maintain recurring financial and operational reporting to enable management to monitor team objectives and metrics. Produce ad-hoc reports to assist with management analysis and decision making. Efficiently extract and analyze data from financial systems. Develop forecasting models for invoicing operation activities and metrics.. Provide business intelligence for internal business partners/customers. Support and execute on Invoice Operations processes as needed for month end, quarter end, and high volume periods. Gather and summarize data from a variety of data sources; perform data collection and cleansing. Validate report results and ensure data integrity. Create visual representations of data; be a storyteller. Create monthly and quarterly reporting processes. Other Projects/Duties as assigned You Have: University degree in accounting, finance, related degree, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of combined experience in finance, Sales Support/Sales Operations experience. Experience with large enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (i.e. NetSuite, SAP); experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) tool (i.e. Salesforce). Advanced Google or Microsoft Office skills; Excel skills, including complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, charting, formulas, and data manipulation. Experience using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence tools. Flexibility and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include English language proficiency.
