About the Job
As part of our executive team, the Chief Marketing Officer for Life360 will help shape our strategy and play a critical role in driving growth and market expansion. They will develop our marketing strategy and oversee execution of all marketing functions, including performance, acquisition, retention, brand, and product marketing. By taking a customer-value and product-centric approach, the CMO will drive measurable business results for both the short and long term, while building a distinctive and lasting consumer brand and turning Life360 into a household name. We are looking for a great people leader who will empower those around them to perform and grow.
What You’ll Do
Customer acquisition: Oversee and drive all of the Life360’s customer acquisition efforts, ranging from paid media channels to organic channels.
Product marketing: Articulate and implement our product marketing strategy across all channels and product lines, current and future.
Brand: Link Life360’s identity and values and help bridge the gap between the product and the customer.
Retention & Engagement: Partner with product teams to build and implement our customer retention strategies, systems, and campaigns (incl. email).
Recruiting: Build a world-class team to support our business goals, partnering with our recruiting team to source, evaluate, close, and then manage/motivate a multi-level team.
Company Strategy: Actively participate with the rest of the exec team to drive the Life360’s overall strategy for both the short and long term.
Budgeting & Finance: Partner closely with Finance to set revenue goals and targets, track financial performance, and strategically manage the marketing budget for results.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a CMO or senior marketing executive in the technology industry
Strong knowledge of consumer marketing strategies, digital marketing channels, and demand generation tactics, with a track record of successful execution.
Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Strong understanding of technology trends and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling marketing messages.
Experience with mobile applications, membership programs, subscription services, retail sales, and hardware is highly desirable.
Public company and startup experiences are also valuable.
