TALENT ACQUISITION PARTNER – TEMPORARY   Based out of Rocket Lab’s headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Talent Acquisition Partner – Temporary is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike to fill highly critical roles. This is a full life-cycle recruitment position – you will own everything from initial sourcing and screening to extending offers. As a member of the TA team, you will be integral in fulfilling our mission to open up access to space to improve life on earth by hiring innovators who will help shape our rapidly expanding programs. *This is a 6-month fixed-term role for immediate hire, with the potential opportunity to convert to full-time employment upon term completion. This role sits onsite at our global HQ in Long Beach, CA – remote work is not considered for this position.* WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO: Serve as a strategic hiring expert and partner to hiring managers and business unit leaders Partner with hiring managers to determine the requirements and expectations for their open positions, and the qualities of their ideal candidate Manage the full hiring life cycle, from initial sourcing and screening to extending offers Screen candidates for open roles and guide them through the interview process Build a diverse pipeline of talent, including passive candidates, through sourcing, cold calling, phone screens, and networking Utilize our ATS Greenhouse to build reports and analyze key metrics on recruiting activities to drive process improvements YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS (Note: you must meet every qualification in order to be considered ): Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of full-time recruiting experience THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: Previous in-house recruiting experience highly preferred Experience recruiting for the aerospace & defense industry Experience recruiting for high-volume nonexempt roles and/or engineering roles such as: production, manufacturing, test, mechanical, electrical, systems, propulsion, etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting high-performing teams Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with hiring managers at all levels, as well as candidates and external partners Previous experience sourcing for highly technical and niche roles TA Partner Hourly Pay Range: $36/hr - $50/hr The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.  In addition to base salary, Rocket Lab offers a comprehensive total compensation package based on individual qualifications and experience, which may include cash or equity incentives. Employees will also be eligible for medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan options, and to purchase discounted stock through Rocket Lab's Employee Stock Purchase Program.
