The Role:
We are seeking a talented and driven Marketing Strategy & Operations Senior Analyst to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in optimizing our marketing system strategies and enhancing operational efficiency.
As a Marketing Strategy & Operations Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of our marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the SVP of Marketing to manage the marketing budget, lead forecasting processes, and conduct ad hoc strategic analysis that enables the marketing team to successfully meet objectives.
You will set up, run, and optimize our marketing automation platform to create a scalable marketing system infrastructure. You will also partner closely with the Sales GTM team on driving critical revenue initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Partner with the SVP of Marketing to lead quarterly and annual Marketing forecasting processes
Lead weekly reporting & pacing meetings, acting as the liaison with channel owner to identify areas requiring attention
Manage the marketing budget in partnership with SVP of Marketing to ensure efficient allocation of budget to maximize revenue
Partner with marketing team members to identify pain points and alleviate with streamlined processes and tool automation
Ensure the marketing team is enabled to measure and analyze their campaigns through self-serve reporting mechanisms
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in marketing technology and provide training, resources, and standardized program templates
Take ownership of technical support for the referral program, implementing automation and improvements as needed
Collaborate with cross-functinoal teams, including GTM ops, data science, and business applications to exeutte strategic projects
Assist in testing, operationalizing, tracking, and optimizing new marketing channels
What you should have:
2-3 years experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or business operations, preferrably in the SaaS industry
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data and multiple perspectives to make recommendations
Exceptional analytical abilities, proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets and SQL is a plus
Data and presentation expertise - you can use data to develop and derive insights and clearly present the “so what” to senior leadership
Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
Experience working in Marketo, Salesforce (or related platforms) and a solid knowledge of the sync between the CRM and MAP
Knowledge of B2B SaaS marketing, the marketing funnel, and digital marketing strategies and tactics
Technical skills and familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues with a knack for process design and optimization
