MINT MOBILE is seeking a talented  Revenue Accounting Manager to join the Finance Team! Individual reports to Director, Finance. Role is hybrid.  This role is a hybrid opportunity that requires a local commutable distance to the HQ Costa Mesa, CA office as needed. ABOUT THE ROLE Your usual day of awesomeness includes:   Be the subject matter expert in the application of revenue recognition standard ASC-606. Ensure compliance with ASC-606 regulations by analyzing complex revenue arrangements, identifying performance obligations, and assessing transaction price allocation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret contracts and assess their impact on revenue recognition. Document and diagram the Company’s revenue streams. Develop detailed revenue recognition policies in accordance with ASC-606 for each revenue stream which specify precise account level treatment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ASC-606 standards and guidance. Identify and address potential risks related to revenue recognition, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines. Performs monthly, quarterly, and year-end close responsibilities including review of supporting documentation and approval of journal entries. Assist in the development and implementation of SOX compliance policies and procedures. WHAT YOU BRING Certified Public Accountant. At least 2 years public accounting experience with a top tier accounting firm and experience with public company accounting and SOX compliance. Strong knowledge and experience with application of ASC-606 required. Knowledge of IFRS-15 is ideal. Experience with NetSuite or similar general ledger systems. Experience with Financial Planning Software is a plus. Telecommunications experience preferred but not required. Experience with data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or Python preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication. Exceptional organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Professional demeanor and the ability to carry out business communications. Ability to interpret data and organize information accurately. Must be a team player and work effectively with cross-functional teams to align strategies, activities, and timing.
